Jean-Christophe Grangé — Polars Pourpres

Bonjour to everybody!

Unfortunately, I don’t speak French, so I hope you won’t be angry for English (which I also speak badly ). Does anybody speak English? I’m one of the monsieur Grange Russian fans and I really love his books! I’ve read four novels, which are in print here: “Les Rivières pourpres”, “Le Vol des cigognes”, “L'Empire des loups” and “La Ligne noire”. Unfortunately “Le Concile de Pierre” wasn’t printed because of some problems with rightholders, but I’ve read it in English. Recently I found out, that there is a new book – “Le Serment des Limbes” that intrigues me (and a little affinity group) badly! I regret to say, but I haven’t found any resources related to Jean-Christophe Grangé in languages I can understand. It’s strange to see, because he’s really outstanding writer and (according to our publishers) his books were translated into 20 languages. So I hope you’ll be so kind and answer a few questions about this book. ))
What does the title mean? I know that “Le Serment” means “promise”, but I have no idea about “Limbes”. According to the dictionary it means “sphere”, “circle” or some religious terms that have no sense in combination. (Isn’t it “promised land”?) What is this book about? Are there chances it will be translated into English (I guess, it’s strange question, huh? )) Thanks in advance!

I'm glad to see a russian reader here !
I speak a quite poor english, but i'll try to help you :
"Serment" is stronger than a promise, it means "oath".
"Limbes" means "Limbo", which is a term related to Hell...

So word for word, the title could be : "The Oath of Limbo"...

I hope this great book will be translated in English soon, so that you will be able to read it !
